What You Will Work On
As a member of our core engineering team, you will:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions and intelligent agents in healthcare.
- Architect and optimize scalable pipelines for diverse clinical data sources, including lab results, vital signs, clinical notes, imaging, and metadata.
- Design and train custom models that enable advanced agent capabilities such as memory, continuous learning, and adaptive improvement.
- Develop knowledge-grounded agent capabilities by integrating clinical guidelines, medical literature, and real-world evidence.
- Establish evaluation frameworks and guardrails to ensure agent outputs are clinically accurate, factually sound, and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Define data strategies and models to support diverse query use cases, including:
- Analytical queries across populations and cohorts
- Patient-centric queries that enable agents to accurately represent a patient’s care journey
- Drive research initiatives in multimodal healthcare AI, clinical NLP, and medical knowledge integration.
- Mentor and guide a team of data scientists, setting best practices for clinical AI development.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven expertise in data science and machine learning, with strong programming skills in Python (preferred) and familiarity with Go for building healthcare agents.
- Deep understanding of healthcare data standards, clinical workflows, and medical terminology.
- Demonstrated experience applying ML and NLP techniques to healthcare data, including time-series modeling, natural language processing of clinical text, and multimodal data integration.
- Hands-on experience with EHR systems, claims data, lab results, and medical imaging datasets.
- Strong track record in MLOps, model deployment, and building production-scale AI systems.
- Ability to translate cutting-edge research into practical, real-world solutions, including implementing methods from academic papers into deployable applications.
- Proven leadership skills to set technical direction, manage cross-functional collaboration, and mentor junior team members.
